Species of dogs which require a special attention

Extra care is required when the following breeds are shipped because they often have hereditary respiratory problems. These animals are susceptible to increased risk of stroke and problems when exposed to stress and or extreme heat:

1. American Staffordshire Terrier (Pit bull)
2. Boston Terrier
3. Boxer
4. Brussels Griffin
5. Bull Terrier
6. Dutch Pub
7. English Bulldog
8. English Toy Spaniel
9. French Bulldog
10. Japanese Chin
11. Japanese Pug
12. Pekinese
13. Shih Tzu
14. Staffordshire Bull Terrier

All brachycephalic breeds are subject to:

1. The owner supplying a 1 size larger kennel that is normally required
2. Maximum acceptance temperature for a snub-nosed dogs & cats 75F/24C

As Pets, KLM only accepts cats and dogs, but no Pit Bulls are allowed.
